About Us

The Keighley and District Association for the blind has been in existence since 9th May 1907 and a registered charity since 1963. It is managed by local users and professional people serving 681 registered blind or partially sighted people mainly living in the surrounding communities of the River Aire Valley, between Skipton in North Yorkshire and Keighley and Bingley, and also Ilkley, Burley-in-Wharfedale and Menston in the Wharfe Valley in West Yorkshire and West Craven area of Pendle Borough Council in Lancashire.
