Computer Information Service
Since 1998 the association has offered computer support to blind and partially sighted people.
Our technology resource service offers:-
- One to One Computer Training
- Information on buying a computer
- Information on adapting a Computer for a visually impaired person
- Alternative methods of accessing printed information
- Information on funding sources for equipment
- Impartial information on hardware and software
- Opportunity to try out different types hardware and software.
Our specially equipped, air conditioned computer centre provides access to a range of adaptive technologies, including:-

- Joy Stick Mouse
- Big Keys Keyboard
- DAISY Reader
- Screen Magnifier/Reader Software
- High Visibility Keyboards
