How are the courses delivered ?

All our courses are delivered on a one-to-one basis, and are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. This means you can learn at your own speed, with out having to worry about falling behind.

Where are the courses delivered ?

All our courses are delivered at our premises on Scott Street Keighley, in our specially equipped air conditioned computer centre.

What Equipment is available ?

Our specially equipped computer centre provides students with access to a range of adaptive technologies, including:-

  • Screen reading and Magnification Software
  • CCTV providing document magnification, and image intensification
  • Text into speech document readers.
  • Braille Displays.

Who is eligible for training ?

Any registered Blind or Partially sighted person is entitled access our training courses.

How much does it cost ?

From January 2006, our training will be free to registered friends of the Association. All sessions are taught on a one-to-one basis.

Can I get a qualification?

We are now able to offer a CLAIT nationally recognised qualification. Though students will be responsible for paying the examination fees themselves, approximately £10 - £15 depending on the level of qualification.
