Street Collection Volunteers

We need volunteers to help us with our street collections. It has been clearly shown that the more volunteers we have the more we raise. If you would be willing to help please contact the office.

Keighley Social Centre

Centre organiser required to organise activities for the weekly meeting of 20 Visually Impaired people at our Scott Street Centre.

Volunteers are also required for our Keighley Social Centre, every Thursday afternoon 1.30pm - 3.30pm, at the Social Centre for the Blind, Scott Street, Keighley.

Silsden Social Centre

Centre organiser required to organise activities for the monthly meeting of 7 Visually Impaired people at the local methodist church.

Bingley Social Centre

Volunteers are wanted to make tea, wash up and act as escorts for the Bingley Blind Group. The organisation meets at St Winifrid's Church Hall in Gilstead Lane, Gilstead every Wednesday from 2pm. For information telephone (01535) 602841

Cross Hills Social Centre

The Association is looking for a new organiser for the Crosshills Social Centre. First Tuesday of the month 1.15pm - 4.00pm. Duties involve organising activities, liasing with the transport provider and handling small amounts of cash. Five other volunteers are available to assist the Organiser of the centre.
